If you’ve spent any time on a treadmill you’re probably familiar with the term “dreadmill.” And it’s true, training on a treadmill is brutally boring. But it’s also a highly effective way to train – especially when running outside is not an option.
While training on a dreadmill, multi-marathoner Kristen Shane had an idea. What if you took treadmill running and combined it with all of the things people love about outdoor running? And just like that, the concept for Fly Feet Running began to take root.
Members run side-by-side on treadmills in an intense, instructor-led workout. A green hue inspired by both nature and city lights fills the room. Runners keep track of their workout by scribbling on the concrete floor. Music blares. And most importantly, workouts are no
longer dreaded.
